As President and Founder of OneSource Technical, Inc., Jim Folger brings more than two decades of leadership and hands-on technical experience to the recruiting industry. Before launching OneSource Technical in 2000, Jim began his career as an engineer and later advanced into engineering management and customer-facing roles. This progression gave him a unique understanding of both the technical and human elements that drive successful teams.

Jim’s background allows him to bridge the gap between employers and candidates with precision and insight — ensuring that every placement aligns with both the skill requirements and cultural fit of his clients. His approach to client service is rooted in partnership; he works closely with organizations to help them build exceptional teams that support long-term success.

Guided by integrity and a commitment to “doing the right thing even when no one is looking,” Jim has built OneSource Technical around trust, transparency, and results.

Outside of work, Jim enjoys Pickleball, Tai Chi, Wine Making, and Jiu-Jitsu, pursuits that reflect his balance of discipline, creativity, and curiosity.

As Vice President of OneSource Technical, Jimmy Folger plays a key role in driving the company’s continued success and maintaining its reputation for excellence in technical recruiting. Having been involved in the family business from an early age, Jimmy developed a strong appreciation for the value of meaningful client and candidate relationships long before officially joining the team.

After graduating from Baldwin Wallace College in 2012 with a degree in Sustainability, Jimmy chose to build his career at OneSource Technical. His educational background provides him with a unique perspective that bridges both the business and technical aspects of the recruiting process — allowing him to understand complex client needs and connect them with the right engineering and technical talent.

Over the years, Jimmy has grown into a leadership role with the company, becoming an indispensable partner in client relations and candidate management. Known for his sincerity, respect, and thoughtful communication, he takes pride in aligning candidates’ career goals with clients’ organizational needs, ensuring a strong and lasting match on both sides.

Outside of work, Jimmy enjoys playing soccer, competing in Pickleball, and sharing adventures with his wife and two children.

As a Senior Technical Recruiter at OneSource Technical, Ryan Folger brings a blend of creativity, discipline, and focus to the recruiting process. With a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance from Capital University and a Master’s degree in Jazz Performance from the University of North Texas. Ryan’s background as a professional musician has shaped his ability to listen closely, think dynamically, and perform with precision, which translates directly into his recruiting work.

When he’s not connecting great candidates with leading technical organizations across the U.S., Ryan tours throughout North America, playing for audiences ranging from intimate gatherings to theaters filled with thousands. Ryan also shares his passion for music by teaching in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio.

Whether on stage or in the recruiting world, Ryan approaches every endeavor with creativity, energy, and attention to detail; ensuring that clients and candidates alike experience harmony in every placement.

As a Senior Technical Recruiter at OneSource Technical, Barb Folger brings more than four decades of experience in Human Resources and HR Management to the recruiting field. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Denison University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University, Barb built a distinguished career in HR — leading teams, shaping talent strategies, and developing a deep understanding of what organizations need to thrive.

Following her retirement from corporate HR, Barb decided to bring her expertise to the family business by joining OneSource Technical. Her extensive background on the client side gives her a unique ability to represent the “voice of the customer”, ensuring that every search aligns with the real-world needs and culture of each organization.

In addition to recruiting, Barb plays an active role in marketing OneSource Technical’s services to new clients and expanding the company’s reach. Known for her professionalism, empathy, and insight, she adds tremendous value to both clients and candidates alike.

Outside of work, Barb enjoys spending time with family and friends along with Pickleball, Tai Chi, and wine making, interests that reflect her balanced approach to life and work.
